Therapy is an active, collaborative process.

I don’t have the magic cure as a therapist.

The real work and change happen from within the client. It takes a skilled, experienced therapist who is able to sit in the pain or mess with you and provide insight and guidance. And, it involves clients willing to discover who they are, perhaps bringing up uncomfortable material, willing to risk and trust, and doing the hard work consistently to create lasting positive change in their life.

When a therapist and client can collaborate in this way, then real change can happen.
